Rising

Build the thing, then stand under it.

Rising makes aluminium shading and glazing systems in its own facility in Istanbul. The people who design a profile are the same people who watch it get anodised, assembled and installed. If you want to see the result of your work standing in someone’s garden, this is a good place to work.

Everything is made here

Design, finishing, assembly and testing happen in one building. Nobody at Rising works on a product they have never seen assembled.

The drawing is the argument

Decisions are settled with a section drawing and a load calculation, not with seniority. If you are right, bring the drawing.

Installed, then judged

Every system we design gets visited after installation. What we learn on that visit goes back into the next revision, not into a report nobody reads.

OPEN POSITIONS

Six ways in.

Click a role to see what it involves and what we look for. Every role is based at the Istanbul facility unless it says otherwise.

The role

You assemble pergola and awning systems from extruded profiles, motors and membranes, working from shop drawings and a fixed tolerance schedule.

What we look for

  • Experience with aluminium profile assembly or joinery
  • Comfortable reading technical drawings and tolerance notes
  • Careful with finished surfaces anodised and powder coated
  • Vocational school or equivalent workshop experience

The role

You lead a two to four person crew installing bioclimatic pergolas, glazing and awning systems on site, and you are the person the client actually talks to.

What we look for

  • At least three years of on-site installation experience
  • Able to set out, level and anchor a structure without supervision
  • Driving licence, class B
  • Calm with clients and precise with a torque wrench

The role

You visit terraces, take the measurements, specify the right system and turn it into a quotation an architect can build from.

What we look for

  • Engineering or architecture background, or equivalent field experience
  • Confident with dimensions, wind loads and drainage logic
  • English at working level; a second language is a real advantage
  • Comfortable presenting to architects and contractors

The role

You develop new profile sections, joints and mechanisms from the first sketch through the extrusion die to the assembled prototype on the test rig.

What we look for

  • 3D CAD at a professional level (SolidWorks, Inventor or similar)
  • Understanding of extrusion, thermal breaks and anodising
  • An interest in how a detail looks, not only whether it works
  • Portfolio of parts that were actually manufactured

The role

You run the photography, the reference archive, the journal and the material architects receive in Turkish and English.

What we look for

  • Strong written English and Turkish
  • Experience with product or architectural photography direction
  • Comfortable in WordPress and a design tool
  • Able to explain a technical product without flattening it

The role

If none of the roles above match but you think you belong here, write to us anyway. Several people on the team arrived this way.

What we look for

  • Tell us what you do and what you would want to build at Rising
  • A portfolio, a drawing or a finished piece of work says more than a CV

WHAT COMES WITH THE JOB

The ordinary things, done properly.

No table football, no slogans on the wall. The list on the right is what actually changes a working week.

Private health insurance from the first month, family cover after the first year.

Lunch cooked on site, and a shuttle from three points in the city.

Overtime paid, not absorbed — and planned at least a week ahead.

Training budget for certification, software and language courses.

A yearly review with a written salary band, so nobody has to guess.

The workshop is open to the whole team — including for your own projects.

APPLY

Send us your work.

Choosing a role above fills the position field for you. A portfolio, a drawing or a photograph of something you built tells us more than a list of job titles.

Every application is read by a person. If your profile fits an opening we will be in touch within two weeks; if it does not, we will tell you rather than leave you waiting.

QUESTIONS FIRST

Not sure which role is yours?

Write to the team before applying. A short conversation is usually faster than guessing which title fits what you actually do.
